After you mix the resin and hardener together, you add a small amount of translucent pigment into the mixture. The pigment adds colour to the resin but still lets light pass through it. This means you can still see designs, wood patterns, or layers inside the resin. This gives your final artwork more depth and a glowing, glass-like look.
